During academic years she conducted a two months student internship in the District Court (2014, June – civil division and 2013, August - criminal division) in Nowy Targ (Poland) where she was responsible for writing projects of the court judgment, working in the secretariat, participating into court hearings, getting familiar with criminal procedure and judicial documentation.

Joanna Kuruçaylıoğlu graduated from Rzeszow University at master’s degree at law in 2015.

During academic years she conducted a two months student internship in the District Court (2014, June – civil division and 2013, August – criminal division) in Nowy Targ (Poland) where she was responsible for writing projects of the court judgment, working in the secretariat, participating into court hearings, getting familiar with criminal procedure and judicial documentation. In 2011 she made a student traineeship in Parliamentary Office of Law and Justice (Nowy Targ / Poland – Edward Siarka’s Constituency Office) where she was responsible for technical preparation of parliamentary documents. As a volunteer, she worked in Law and Justice – Youth Forum (Krakow / Poland, 2007-2015), Embassy of the Republic of Poland (Ankara, June 8th, 2012 – logistic preparation for the EURO 2012 ) and Amnesty Internation (2013-2015). Joanna Kuruçaylıoğlu was a journalist in the Rzeszow Univesity newspaper “Desuetudo” where she was writing about criminal cases, and topics related to social psychology. As a participant of the ERASMUS student exchange program, she made her one-year scholarship at Ankara Unıveristy (2011-2012).

Currently, as a first Polish citizen, she is making a PhD studies at Istanbul University in the department of Turkish private law. Her major is international law. Her PhD thesis topic is” Legislations on work permits in Turkey during the harmonization process, and in Poland before and after integration process under the EU legislation”. In 2018, as a first Polish citizen, she applied for recognition of Polish law school diploma in Turkey. In June 2016 she established the first Polish association in Istanbul called Association of Poles in Istanbul and became the first chairwoman of the association. The same year, she started broadcasting online the first Polish newspaper for Poles in Turkey called “Lehistan Sokağı” (eng. Polish Street). As an editor in chief and on behalf of Lehistan Sokağı newspaper office, she won the Maciej Płażyński’s award for journalists and media serving Poland in 2018. During her social work within the association, she was making legal advice for Poles. Joanna Kuruçaylıoğlu started her legal career in Bıçak Hukuk Firm based in Ankara in August 2019.

In 2019 she participated twice in HOPES Higher and Further Education Opportunities and Perspectives for Turks [Scholarship Founded by The European Union]. She got a scholarship in MicroMasters Internationalisation at Home Through Online Micro Masters and Virtual Mobility, Entrepreneurship Ecosystem and Innovative Strategies (2020).
