Since 2002<\/span><\/h3>\n

B\u0131\u00e7ak Law Firm has been providing high quality legal consultancy, representation, mediation, arbitration and training services to domestic, regional and global companies, organizations and individuals since 2002.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our law firm was established on the 15 July 2002 in Ankara by Prof. Dr. Vahit B\u0131\u00e7ak<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

From Law Office to Law Firm<\/span><\/h3>\n

Our first office was located next to the House of Judges in Ankara. In 2006, we moved to our second office in \u00c7etin Eme\u00e7 Avenue to meet the need for a larger working environment in parallel with the development of our business. We have grown from an apartment law office to a self-contained apartment law firm with branches across Ankara. This qualified us as a Law Firm rather than just a Law Office.<\/span><\/p>\n

Construction Contracts<\/span><\/h3>\n

One of the most prominent and largest construction companies in the United Kingdom, which has also built many large dams in our country, has became one of our very fist\u00a0 clients to whom we provided legal advice. Thanks to this representation, we gained a lot of experience in areas such as construction contracts, dispute resolution before international authorities, and international arbitration.<\/span><\/p>\n

Energy Sector<\/span><\/h3>\n

We started working with the energy industry by representing our client, an American company that drills and manages oil wells around the world. The American petroleum company mainly operated in Kazakhstan. Our role was to assist applying for necessary permits to drill and manage oil wells in Turkey. <\/span><\/p>\n

Subsequently, we began offering to provide services to companies involved in the production and distrubution of electricity and natural gas. Our consultancy services in the energy sector have continued by assisting the largest energy production and distribution company in Germany with its investments in Turkey.<\/span><\/p>\n

Embassies and Consulates<\/span><\/h3>\n

Many embassies and consulates such as those of Germany, Canada, France, Austria, the Netherlands, Romania, Poland, Hungary, Indonesia and in particular the USA have recommend the B\u0131\u00e7ak Law Firm to their citizens since 2010. In this period, we have also started to provide legal services to some of the embassies.<\/span><\/p>\n

Information Technology<\/span><\/h3>\n

In 2022, we started working with the information technology industry by providing essential legal services to a Russian search engine company, which also has many ambitious projects in the Turkish communications market.<\/span><\/p>\n

Turkish Companies Operating Internationally<\/span><\/h3>\n

Since 2012, we have been advising Turkish investors on the legal issues they face in various cities and countries around the world. We have also collaborated with other law firms in countries such as Ukraine, Spain, the USA, the UK, Germany, Azerbaycan and Tunisia to find legal solutions to the problems that Turkish companies face in their business relations. <\/span><\/p>\n

We find legal solutions for the companies we work with. We provided solutions: tracing the transactions of the ships belonging to Turkish armatures in the territorial waters and foreign ports, arbitration or reconciliation before an international authority or together with the law firms we cooperate in the respective countries.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

One of the problems that may arise and may require the aforesaid approach is the disagreements between multinational companies operating in our country and their Turkish distributors. As a result of the rewarding experience we have gained during this period, we have become a member of many international networks, which enable us to carry out our international practices more quickly and in a more result-oriented manner.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tourism Industry<\/span><\/h3>\n

In 2012, our national practices continued, alongside our international practices. We started to follow up the mediation and litigation process by resolving disputes concerning the partners and shareholding structure of many 5-star hotels in tourism industry.<\/span><\/p>\n

White Collor Crimes<\/span><\/h3>\n

Our consultancy and training services are growing year on year in the field of white collor crime, which involves crimes committed through limited liability and joint-stock companies such as bid rigging, bribery, forgery and fraud.<\/span><\/p>\n
